"How,
then, can they call on the one they have not believed in?
And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not
heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to
them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it
is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who
bring good news!" Romans 10:14-15

I
finally have my e-mail back! If any of you tried to contact
me between June 3 and June 10, then your e-mails never got
to me. The GEM server was down for almost a week, and then
one of the backup tapes was corrupted. I wish I could have
sent this update out earlier, but I'm back!
Has
the last month been as crazy for you as it has for me? I'm
fairly sure I've run the gamut of emotions--everything from
boredom to busyness, being freaked-out to fatigued, and anger
to peaceful acceptance. (How's that for alliteration? My writing
professor would be proud. Maybe
)
And
yet it all comes down to where I am in Christ, doesn't it?
Am I content? Do I seek the Father in all things? In all honesty,
not always. But God continually pulls my vision back to Him,
whether I like it or not. I'm glad He does. And it's been
a good month.
My
March 23 awareness-raising evening went well. I realized a
little too late that I probably should have scheduled the
event on a weekend other than Memorial Day weekend, but around
30 people still showed up. I was very encouraged by reactions
to the night, especially from one of my friends. Chris Warren,
a young man from Irving Bible Church, said after the event,
"If your intent was to raise awareness for the spiritual
needs in Europe, then it worked. I had no idea that Europe
was such a dark place!"
So
the night was a success. Even if only one person walked away
with a better understanding of what's going on spiritually
in the rest of the world, and I know there were more, then
it was worth the effort.
The
A/V folks at church taped the evening for me, and I'm currently
editing the audio down into tracks to put on CD. I'll also
put the videos we showed on the CD and some pictures that
we took. Soon I can send you one to listen to or show some
of your friends. I'll also post the tracks, videos, and pictures
on my website. Stay tuned for more details!

My
family. Please continue to pray for my family. My
dad is dead-set on leaving my mother, and he thinks
he's being strong by ignoring everything he's ever believed
in or taught us. Mom is holding up well, but it's still
a devastating blow to her. The story is long, convoluted,
and not close to being over. And it's certainly not
easy on me. Please intercede on our behalf to the Father,
for me, my mom and dad, and sister, Christy, and brother,
Jared.

Jared,
my younger brother, found a job as of a few weeks
ago! Praise the Lord! Pray for his encouragement and
God's guidance as he starts this new position in Arkansas.

My
support is holding steady between 10%-15%, but I still
have a long way to go before I get to Ireland to start
my ministry. I can't go until I have 100% of my
support. Please continue to pray and seek God's will
about supporting this ministry. My greatest needs are
still monthly support, and it doesn't take much to make
this happen. Pray that God raises faithful supporters
soon and that friends, family, and people I meet catch
the vision for what God is doing in Europe.

Thank
you so much for your prayers! Until next time!
